Creating an image component

You create an image component when you want to reuse an image in multiple places in your website.

About this task

To create an image component, open the applications menu and go to Content > Web Content Management and then click New > Component > Image.
  1. Image component identification
    Specify identification information for the component, including the name, title and description of the component.
  2. Specify a location for the image component
    When creating a component you can specify the location of the component.
  3. Selecting an image
    You use the image element to upload an image.
  4. Image component properties
    Specify properties for the component, including the list of authors and owners associated with the component.
  5. Granting image component access
    Specify the access control settings for the component to determine which users have access to the component and their level of access.
