Editing user profiles
You can add profile information to users. User profiles can be used as search parameters in menus.
Before you begin
Note: Profiling cannot be added to groups, only users.
Procedure
- Open an authoring portlet.
- Open the Preferences section of the authoring portlet.
- Click Profile Users.
- Click Select to select the users you would like to edit and then click Next.
- Click Select Categories to add or remove categories.
- Enter keywords in the Keywords field separated by commas.
- Click Finish.
What to do next
Note: To use this feature, you must configure a property
extension database to store user-specific data.
